We advise
and assist clients with legal, regulatory and insurance matters
concerning real estate valuation and litigation. Our clients are
appraisers, lenders, investors, and settlement and mortgage lending service providers.
Attorney Peter Christensen also serves as the general counsel of LIA Administrators & Insurance Services, which provides liability
insurance, bonds and other insurance products to appraisers,
appraisal firms, and businesses involved in settlement and mortgage
lending services. LIA presently provides insurance to more than 20,000
professionals and companies in all 50 states. Its professional
liability program for appraisers is endorsed by the Appraisal
Institute. As part of his work for LIA, Peter directs the Real Estate Advisors Defense Institute (READI) created by LIA.
